बीते सोमवार पंजाब और दि काउंटर इंटेलिजेंस के ज्वाइंट ऑपरेशन में 'वारिस पंजाब दे' के प्रमुख और खालिस्तान समर्थक अमृतपाल सिंह के बेहद करीबी पप्पलप्रीत सिंह को अमृतसर के कत्थूनंगल गांवों से गिरफ्तार किया गया। IG सुखचैन सिंह गिल ने बताया कि पपलप्रीत पर NSA लगाया गया है। उसे डिब्रूगढ़ जेल भेजा जाएगा। उस पर पहले 6 केस दर्ज हैं। बता दें कि पपलप्रीत सिंह 18 मार्च को अमृतपाल के साथ ही फरार हुआ था। इसके बाद वह साए की तरह उसके साथ चल रहा था।
