92 साल से चली आ रही रेल बजट की परंपरा को खत्म कर केंद्र सरकार ने ऐतिहासकित फैसला लिया है। कैबिनेट ने रेल बजट को आम बजट में मिलाने के प्रस्ताव पर मुहर लगा दी है।
.... संसद की मंजूरी के बाद 2017 से एक ही बजट पेश किया जाएगा यानी अब अलग से रेल बजट पेश करने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। इसके साथ ही अब रेल बजट के सभी प्रस्ताव आम बजट में शामिल कर दिए जाएंगे, केंद्र सरकार को लाभांश का भुगतान भी नहीं करना होगा। बावजूद इसके रेलवे की कामकाज में स्वायत्ता बनी रहेगी। रेल मंत्रालय का वित्तीय लेखा-जोखा भी आम बजट का उसी तरह से हिस्सा होगा, जैसे दूसरे मंत्रालय के लिए होता है। इसके अलावा केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने दाल, खाद्य तेल एवं तिलहन के लिये भंडारण सीमा की अवधि 1 साल के लिए यानी 30 सितंबर 2017 तक बढ़ा दिया है। बहरहाल दोनों मंत्रालयों के अधिकारों का बटवारा और कई अहम विषयों पर फैसला लेना बाकी है। इसके साथ ही बजट सत्र और बजट पेश करने की तारीखें भी बदल सकती हैं।

సిపిఎం కడప జిల్లా కార్యదర్శి జి.చంద్రశేఖర్ మాట్లాడుతూ... 2024 జులై 23వ తేదీ కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక శాఖ మంత్రి నిర్మల సీతారామన్ ప్రవేశపెట్టిన పూర్తి బడ్జెట్ అంకెల వెనుక, ప్రజల ప్రయోజనాలు లేవని విమర్శించారు. పరోక్ష పన్నులు ప్రజలపై పెంచారని, సంపన్నులకు, పేదలకు ఒకే పన్ను సరైంది కాదన్నారు. అప్పులు తెచ్చి ఆదాయాన్ని తెచ్చిపెట్టే రంగాల్లో ఖర్చు పెట్టకుండా దాటేసారని, లాభాల్లో ఉండే ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థలను కార్పొరేట్లకు కారు చౌకగా..BHL లాంటి ఎన్నో ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థలను అప్పగిస్తున్నారన్నారు. పాలకులకు ప్రజల ఆర్థిక సమస్యల పరిష్కారంపై నిబద్ధత లేదన్నారు. బడ్జెట్లో దేశ హితులు, సంస్థలు చేసిన ఆర్థిక సర్వేలు పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోలేదని, ఉపాధి, ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాల పైన దృష్టి పెట్టలేదని, రోజు రోజుకు పెరుగుతున్న ప్రజల ఆహార వస్తువుల ధరలు అదుపు చేసే ప్రక్రియ లేదని మండి పడ్డారు.
దేశంలో పెరుగుతున్న ఆర్థిక అసమానతులను తగ్గించే చర్యలు మరిచారన్నారు.
సంపన్నులపై పన్నులు వేసి.. వేతన జీవులకు రాయితీలు ఇవ్వాలన్న డిమాండ్ చేశారు. బడ్జెట్ లో కడప ఉక్కు ప్రస్తావన లేదు.. కొప్పర్తి ఇండస్ట్రియల్ కారిడార్కుకు నిధులు కూడా ప్రస్తావించలేదని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
