Real-Life Story 'Visharda - The Journey Of A Child With Autism' Getting Ready For An Early Release

The World Autism Acceptance Week is back from 27 March to 2 April 2023! The theme is the Spectrum Colour Challenge Thereafter the World Autism Awareness Day is observed on April 2.

Many Bollywood filmmakers are taking up some really serious topics to portray the dark and bold characters; especially on Autism Syndrome. It is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction. verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted, repetitive behaviour.

On World Autism Day, let's take a look at films that managed to do justice on the subject is Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary's' 'Taare Zameen Par', Shah Rukh Khan in 'My Name Is Khan', Hrithik Roshan in 'Koi Mil Gaya' amongst others.

Buzz is that a prominent young filmmaker Shubhraaj Gupta, the writer-director and editor too has also made an interesting film on Autism - depiction of the mental and impaired people, who become tough in tense situations of life.

It is aptly titled as 'Visharda - The Journey Of A Child with Autism'. Here the character is a real autism child - a 9-year-old girl by the same name 'Visharda' playing the central character. The subject is inspired by her strong-willed and illustrious parents - mother Dr. Sujata Kapoor and father Dr. Puneet Karla who also features in the film playing real-life roles in the film too. They wanted their child to courageously breathe in the open air and enjoy her presence in the whole world.

The film also co-stars late Mithlesh Chaturvedi, Banwari Lal Jhol, Anuj Nayak, Aarti. Nagpal and others.
