Meteorite has fallen in the Chelyabinsk over thousands of people has affected. Video from 3 different cameras..
Meteorite crash footage captured explosions in the skies of Russia, reportedly caused by a meteor shower, has sparked panic in three major cities. The video depicts several angles of the meteor streaking across the sky and finally crashing and exploding in a seemingly urban area. The incident occured on 2/15/2013 and don't worry, it's not a UFO.
Fragments of at least one meteorite fell in the Chelyabinsk region, causing flashes in the morning sky and sharp, loud explosions. Russian officials speculate that the meteor was part of a larger meteor shower (meteorite rain, as they call it).
tl;dr A massive meteorite, possibly part of a meteor shower, crashed in Russia this morning. While streaking across the sky for several minutes, the footage was video taped by many Russian dash cameras. The enormous meteor then exploded in an urban area, potentially factory in a pretty damn loud explosion.

Breaking News: Meteorite crashes in Russia's urals - Video includes raw, unedited footage caught on mobile camera and multiple dashboard cameras from the meteor explosion and meteor shower.
MOSCOW - The Russian Urals region has been stricken by a sudden cosmic attack. Unidentified flying objects exploded over several major cities, including Chelyabinsk, where the blast waves blew out windows and disrupted mobile connections.
The Emergency Ministry said the incident was caused by a shower of meteorite debris. Russian space agency Roskosmos has confirmed the object is a meteorite. The meteor weighed around 10 tons before entering Earth's atmosphere and was travelling around 30 km/s when it exploded between 30 and 50 km over the Ural mountains. The shockwave broke windows and sent debris and fragments which were responsible for the widespread injuries and damage, including the hole in the ice of a lake.
Multiple dashboard videos recorded the meteorite on tape, showing huge fireballs flying over buildings and exploding with a strong blast (VIDEO).

Meteor Hits Russia: Hundreds Hurt
A meteor streaks across the sky in central Russia causing loud explosions and injuring hundreds of people.
More than 500 people have been injured after a meteor strike in central Russia, the country's interior ministry said.
Fragments of at least one meteorite were seen falling from the morning sky in the Chelyabinsk region at around 9am local time, around 1,500km east of Moscow.
Witnesses described feeling a pressure wave and hearing explosions overhead as the object hurtled to earth. Windows shattered and there were localised power cuts, sparking panic among residents.
The emergencies ministry said that 20,000 rescue workers had been dispatched to help the injured and locate those needing help.
The defence ministry said it had sent soldiers to the sites of impact.
Police urged people to remain calm and asked those who had been injured to call a special hotline.
Russia's Ministry of Interior said more than 500 people had reported injuries, with most requiring treatment for minor cuts and bruises caused by broken glass and damage to buildings. No serious injuries have been reported.
The local office of the National Emergencies Ministry said in a statement: 'A meteorite disintegrated above the Urals (mountain range in central Russia), partially burning up in the lower atmosphere.

A powerful blast rocked the Russian region of the Urals early on Friday with bright objects, identified as possible meteorites, falling from the sky, emergency officials said.
'It was definitely not a plane,' an emergency official told Reuters, without elaborating. 'We are gathering the bits of information and have no data on the casualties so far.'
No one was hurt in a meteor shower, an emergency official told RIA-Novosti. Local residents said they witnessed burning objects in the sky of the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions.
A Reuters witness in Chelyabinsk reported hearing a huge blast early in the morning and feeling a shockwave in a 19-storey building in the town center.
The sounds of car alarms and breaking windows could be heard in the area, the witness said, and mobile phones were working intermittently.
'Preliminary indications are that it was a meteorite rain,' an emergency official told RIA-Novosti. 'We have information about a blast at 10,000-meter (32,800-foot) altitude. It is being verified.'
The trace from a falling object could be seen in Yekaterinburg, some 200 kilometers (125 miles) southeast of Chelyabinsk, another Reuters witness said.

According to unconfirmed reports, the meteorite was intercepted by an air defense unit at the Urzhumka settlement near Chelyabinsk. A missile salvo blew the meteorite to pieces at an altitude of 20 kilometers, local newspaper Znak reports quoting a source in the military.
Regnum news agency quoted a military source who claimed that the vapor condensation trail of the meteorite speaks to the fact that the meteorite was intercepted by air defenses.
Army units found three meteorite debris impact sites, two of which are in an area near Chebarkul Lake, west of Chelyabinsk. The third site was found some 80 kilometers further to the northwest, near the town of Zlatoust. One of the fragments that struck near Chebarkul left a crater six meters in diameter.
Russian space agency Roskosmos has confirmed the object that crashed in the Chelyabinsk region is a meteorite: 'According to preliminary estimates, this space object is of non-technogenic origin and qualifies as a meteorite. It was moving at a low trajectory with a speed of about 30 km/s.'
According to estimates by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the space object weighed about 10 tons before entering Earth's atmosphere.
As of 15:00 Moscow time, 725 people have sought medical attention in Chelyabinsk alone because of the disaster, 112 of whom have been hospitalized .Among the injured there are 84 children, Emergency ministry reported. A bright flash was seen in the Chelyabinsk, Tyume

A meteor streaked across the sky and exploded over Russia's Ural Mountains with the power of an atomic bomb Friday, its sonic blasts shattering countless windows and injuring about 1,100 people.
The spectacle deeply frightened many Russians, with some elderly women declaring that the world was coming to an end. Many of the injured were cut by flying glass as they flocked to windows, curious about what had produced such a blinding flash of light.
The meteor — estimated to be about 10 tons — entered the Earth's atmosphere at a hypersonic speed of at least 54,000 kph (33,000 mph) and shattered into pieces about 30-50 kilometers (18-32 miles) above the ground, the Russian Academy of Sciences said in a statement.
Amateur video showed an object speeding across the sky about 9:20 a.m. local time, just after sunrise, leaving a thick white contrail and an intense flash.
'There was panic. People had no idea what was happening,' said Sergey Hametov, a resident of Chelyabinsk, a city of 1 million about 1,500 kilometers (930 miles) east of Moscow.
'We saw a big burst of light, then went outside to see what it was and we heard a really loud, thundering sound,' he told The Associated Press by telephone.
The meteor hit less than a day before asteroid 2012 DA14 is to make the closest recorded pass by the Earth for a rock of its size — about 17,150 miles (28,000 kilometers). But the European Space Agency said its experts h
