Due to incessant rains in Himachal Pradesh, the water level in Pong Dam is increasing continuously. The water level of Pong Lake went up to a record 1381.58 feet on Sunday. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department and in view of the rising water level, BBMB has issued a notice to release water from Pong Dam on August 14.
