Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes announced last month that Kelly would move to a prime time position when she returned from maternity leave.
Now the Drudge Report says she'll take over the 9pm ET slot in the prime time lineup, but Fox News isn't spilling the beans.
A Fox News spokesperson said no official announcement would be made at this time.
“We will neither confirm nor deny any programming schedule changes,' the spokesperson said. 'As previously stated, the network has signed long-term deals with Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, Shepard Smith, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren.”
Kelly recently gave birth to her third child, a baby boy named Thatcher Bray Brunt.
She joined Fox News in 2004 and has anchored 'America Live' since February 2010. She also appears weekly on 'The O'Reilly Factor' in a segment titled 'The Kelly File.'.

Watch Megyn Kelly Reportedly Taking Over Sean Hannity's Time Slot Video.
News video | 507 views
Last month we learned that Megyn Kelly was leaving her daytime anchor gig to take over a Fox News primetime slot. According to an “exclusive” Drudge Report flash this afternoon, that time slot will be 9 p.m. ET.
“Superstar newswoman Megyn Kelly has landed the 9 PM slot, top sources reveal,” the Drudge Report wrote. “The shock announcement is set for later this month.”
Fox’s 9 p.m. hour is currently helmed by Sean Hannity, leading to speculation over whether he could be out of a primetime gig.
There are many possible outcomes from this lineup change, but here are some of the most likely: Hannity moves to 10 p.m., pushing Greta Van Susteren up to the 7 p.m. currently inhabited by Shepard Smith‘s second show of the day. Or Van Susteren keeps the 10 p.m. slot and Hannity moves to 7 p.m., becoming Bill O’Reilly‘s new lead-in. Or Van Susteren moves to weekend primetime, despite previous reports suggesting she is signed for a “daily” show.
We’ll keep an eye on this story for any further developments…

Is Sean Hannity being bumped from TV? The Drudge Report is breaking that Megyn Kelly is being given the 9pm slot at Fox News, the same slot Sean Hannity currently has...

Fox News rising star Megyn Kelly is going to take over the prime-time slot currently helmed by talk superstar Sean Hannity, a huge shift in the conservative news channel's programming, according to the Drudge Report.
'It's all about Megyn,' an inside source at Fox told Drudge. 'She is the new face of cable news. She has it all!'
It would be the first major prime-time change in the leading cable news channel's lineup in a decade.
So far, no other major news organization is reporting the item. Matt Drudge cited anonymous 'top sources' in his report Thursday afternoon, adding that the announcement would be made later in August.
Fox issued a statement shortly after the Drudge Report story appeared:
'We will neither confirm nor deny any programming schedule changes. As previously stated, the network has signed long-term deals with Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, Shepard Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Greta Van Susteren.'
But it's clear changes are coming. The big question is, where does Hannity go? He is signed to a long-term contract that will reportedly keep him on the network through the 2016 election, the Huffington Post reported. Fox prime-time's other stars, Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren, are also locked in to years-long contracts.

When Fox News announced that Megyn Kelly was going to be moving from daytime to primetime, it did not specify what hour she would be taking over.
According to a 'flash' from Matt Drudge on Thursday, that hour is 9 PM — which is better-known as the time when Sean Hannity's show airs.
Drudge cited anonymous 'top sources' in his report, and said that the announcement would be made later in August.
The big question, if the report were to prove true, would be what happens to Hannity. He is signed to a long-term contract that will reportedly keep him on the network through the 2016 election. His other prime-time colleagues, Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren, are also signed for years. Recently, Van Susteren responded to rumors that she would be bumped by Kelly by saying she had a contract for a daily, primetime show.
UPDATE: Fox News chief Roger Ailes dropped some big hints about what changes might be afoot during an interview on Thursday. Ailes said that he has been working with Shep Smith, who anchors the network's 3 and 7 PM hours, on a 'a new way to deliver news' that would be unveiled in September—just around the time Kelly returns from maternity leave. This raised the possibility that Smith would also be involved in whatever changes Kelly's ascension prompts.

December 12, 2013 - Jon Stewart is really getting tired of Fox News still flogging this War on Christmas nonsense, and Thursday night, he said that 'shit's getting real.' He took on both Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly Thursday night for freaking out about a Festivus pole and black Santa. Stewart mocked Fox's 'manger danger warnings' before getting to the 'crazy' stuff Kelly said about why Santa is white, period. Stewart explained the historical person Santa is based on actually had a darker skin pigmentation. And on the follow-up point that Jesus was white, Stewart said, 'You do know Jesus wasn't born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, right?'
Jessica Williams then joined Stewart to explain that black people feeling uncomfortable about a white Santa need to get over it, while anything at all that makes white people feel uncomfortable has to be fixed immediately.

Sean Hannity - Megyn Kelly Primtime Reaction - 'Hannity says: 'He's leaving it out there to figure it out.'' That's the inscrutable quote Sean Hannity predicted would be picked up in the press after he coyly dismissed the rumors that Megyn Kelly's ascension to his 9pm time slot could mean anything bad for his career. Without giving anything about his own future away, Hannity said he's 'very happy' with the result.
'By the way has there been any news today on the Drudge Report?' Hannity asked his radio show co-hosts today. 'Anything I missed?' He said, 'I am actually enjoying people that really don't know a whole lot, just going nuts. So I'm going to leave it there, just for fun. And these comments will be picked up now. Hannity says: 'He's leaving it out there to figure it out.' Let's just say in the end I'm very happy. That's all I can say at this point.'
'Because everybody thinks they know everything and they don't,' Hannity continued. 'It's pretty funny. I love people speculating. And of course the Hannity haters come out in full force: 'I hate Hannity. I can't stand him. He's dumb. He's stupid. He's a right wing nut job.' I love that, too. And if I wasn't hated, I wouldn't be doing my job now would I?'

Yes, the leak about Megyn Kelly taking the 9 pm Prime Time slot at Fox News is virtully assured, but reports of Hannity's Death are Greatly Exaggerated!
People initially just assumed (including me) that Hannity was being moved out of Prime Time and Megan was in the 9 pm seat solo.
But after considering there are long term contracts with one more host than there are Prime Time slots, it become as obvious as the nose on my face. Fox is probably looking at pairing Hannity with Megyn or Megyn with Greta, or Greta with Hannity. Duh... Why didn't we see that immediately the day it was announce. That ol' fox Roger Ailes knows how to milk that speculative publicity!
