Is Kate late? Right in the middle of her delivery window, a new due date is on our radar!
As The Great Kate Wait draws on, the world watches grows more anxious by the day. Concerns about Kate Middleton being overdue have been raised, but it turns out we may not have to worry — yet. New reports out of the hospital staff at St. Mary’s say they have been prepared for a month now, but in anticipation of an entirely different due date! Is today the day?

Kate Middleton: Real Due Date July 19?
In preparation for the delivery of the Royal Baby, the entire staff of the London hospital where Kate is set to give birth have been on alert, deciding that being over-prepared is better than rushing around at the last minute!

“A small number of staff at St. Mary’s who might be called upon when the Duchess gives birth were told they had to remain teetotal for a month before the due date,” a Royal source told The Telegraph. ”They were told the due date was July 19, meaning they couldn’t drink from June 19 onwards.”

How did this date remain a mystery? “Only a handful of people were told,” reports The Telegraph, ”because there are very few hospital staff who might be needed in the case of an emergency.” Trusting only essential players in Kate’s delivery also helps the date remain secure!

This due date is a week later than the original July 13 date widely reported — and suggests that the baby could be here any minut.

Kate Middleton due today? Royal watchers claim she's not overdue as frenzy grows

With the Duchess of Cambridge’s due date widely reported as July 13, there is now speculation that Kate Middleton is actually due today as the frenzy outside a London hospital grows.

The Daily Mail reports a source at St Mary’s Hospital staff says the royal baby is actually due today, July 19.

The means the baby could arrive as far away as August 2.

Kate herself said the baby was due “mid-July,” earlier this year.

And he may be royal, but when it comes to paternity leave Prince William is in the same boat as everyone else. Like thousands of other new fathers in Britain, he will get two weeks off when his child is born.

Along with British society, the royal family has been gradually modernizing its attitudes to birth and parenting. William’s father, Prince Charles, was present at the birth of his two sons, who were born in a hospital rather than a palace – both breaks from royal tradition. But William is the first senior royal to receive statutory paternity leave, which was introduced in Britain in 2003.
Some family campaigners say William, a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue helicopter pilot, is setting a good example in a country where until recently new fathers have taken little time off.

But others say two weeks is not enough, and argue social and economic pressures still discourage fathers from spending time looking after their newborns.

Kate Middleton's Due Date 'Has Passed' New Hospital Report 'Not True'; Couple in Bucklesbury

She's still 'wait-y Katie!' The whole entire world, it seems, is sitting on pins and needles waiting for Kate Middleton to give birth to the royal baby -- and a new report in The Telegraph claims that the Duchess' 'real' due date was Friday, July 19. The British paper went on to report that staff members at London's St. Mary's Hospital -- Kate will give birth in the swank Lindo Wing -- were instructed to avoid alcohol and be on their best behavior, with an expected due date on Friday.

A source close to the couple tells Us Weekly the July 19 due date report is 'not true,' and adds: 'Kate's due date has passed.'
For now, Kate, 31, and Prince William are still ensconced at the Middleton family home in Bucklebury. Middleton retreated to the compound, 50 miles away from London, last weekend after scorching London temperatures -- and a lack of air conditioning at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace -- became too unbearable.

Whenever the Duchess does go into labor, there's a detailed plan in place. The palace staff is 'on call every day and night in July for this,' explains a palace insider to Us. 'There is nothing left to prepare or plan for.'

Adds a Royal Air Force source of William, 31: 'William is not on paternity leave yet but he has had to take time off work now. He did double shifts the week before he returned to London. We

Is Kate Middleton's Pregnancy Overdue Because She's Having a Boy?

By our count, Kate Middleton is now five days past her rumored July 13 due date. So, what’s the royal baby hold up?

First, it’s important to note that it’s completely normal for babies to arrive one or two weeks after—or before—their ETAs, so royal watchers needn’t worry about Kate’s or the baby’s health yet. The average pregnancy lasts 40 weeks, but it’s not until 42 weeks that a pregnancy is really considered late, or “post-term,” according to the National Institutes of Health. So if she’s really five days late, the duchess’s pregnancy is still within a normal range.

There are, however, a few factors that make it more likely for a baby to come late. One that definitely applies to Kate is that first pregnancies are more likely to be overdue. In fact, research says that first babies are, on average, eight days late—so we may be waiting until Saturday or longer for the royal birth.

But here’s something even more fascinating: babies that come late are more likely to be male. Could this be a sign that the heir will be a boy? Studies suggest it’s more likely, but even the royal couple doesn’t know the gender of the baby, having opted for a delivery room surprise instead.

Other contributing factors to late deliveries are: overdue pregnancies running in the family, obesity, or the rare problem with the fetus or placenta. There’s also the fact that naming due dates isn’t an exact science—they’re just estimates. Obstetrician

Kate’s July 13 due date has come and gone, but the Duchess is still pregnant! Could she and Prince William have intentionally been vague about the due date? Kate’s mom Carole Middleton has reportedly spilled the beans about a much later due date!
The world is waiting with bated breath for the royal baby to arrive, but it may not be as soon as we all think! Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s supposed due date of July 13 has passed, but we now know that that may not have been her real due date!

Kate Middleton Allegedly Not Due Until July 23
Kate’s mom Carole Middleton reportedly told her friends that the baby will be a Leo, meaning the newborn isn’t supposed to arrive for a few more days!

Kate’s due date may not be for another week or so, according to NBC. The news site reports that Kate’s mom Carole may have spilled the beans about her daughter’s real due date by revealing the baby’s astrological sign! The grandmother-to-be allegedly told friends that the royal baby will be a Leo, which means that Kate would not give birth until at least July 23.

Evidence of Kate and William’s Later Due Date
News of a later due date would certainly make complete sense, especially taking into account the other evidence of a July 23 due date.

For one, the Palace has never officially announced the day the baby is slated to be born, only the month. William’s friends reportedly revealed the July 13 due date, b
