The general public is suffering badly in many areas of the Jammu region and the Government has totally failed to solve the issue even after the lapse of so much of time. JAMMU: A massive protest rally was taken out by the PHE daily wagers, ITI trained and CP workers in here on Monday in support of their demands.
A large number of temporary workers of PHE Department from various Divisions and PHE Sub Divisions under the banner of All J&K PHE ITI Trained and CP Workers Association ( Jammu Province), led by its president , Tanveer Hussain assembled at Chief Engineer’s office at B C Road and started their protest rally towards civil secretariat.
The agitating workers were carrying banners and placards in their hands and raising loud slogans in support of their demands.

JAMMU LINKS NEWS | JAMMU: PHE daily wagers on Monday held strong protest demonstration and took out a rally in winter capital city here.
A large number of PHE workers including ITI trained and CP workers, besides those who have donated lands for PHE stations, water tanks etc, under the leadership of Tanveer Hussain, president of the Association, assembled near Press Club here in the morning and then started protest march towards the office of Chief Engineer PHE, BC Road near KC Crossing.
They were shouting slogans in support of their demands of regularization and release of pending wages of the workers, expediting process of regularization under SRO which is needed to be issued with out any delay. Tanveer alleged that there was great resentment among the workers for causing delay in their regularization. Many workers were carrying banners and placards in their hands projecting their demands.
