दिल्ली पुलिस स्थापना सप्ताह के अन्तर्गत दिल्ली पुलिस कई सामाजिक कार्य करती है । इसी के तहत दिल्ली पुलिस ने कवि सम्मलेन का आयोजन किया । इस मौके पर ट्रांस यमुना के सभी धर्मों के लोग पुलिस अधिकारी व पुलिसकर्मियों ने एकसाथ बैठकर सम्मलेन का लुत्फ़ उठाया। इस दौरान कवियों ने नेता ऐसा समा बंधा की कोई हँसने से अपने आप को रोक नही पाया .. कविताओ में पुलिसकर्मियों का दर्द भी छिपा था.
दिल्ली में कम्युनिटी पुलिसिंग को बढ़ावा देने की मुहीम में आज एक और आयाम जुड़ गया जब आज रोहिणी में
दिल्ली पुलिस नॉर्दर्न रेन्ज की तरफ से प्रहरी कार्यक्रम के तहत 750 प्राइवेट सुरक्षा प्रहरियों के लिये एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया।
इस कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत जॉइन्ट सीपी नॉर्दर्न रेन्ज , राजेश खन्ना के सम्बोधन के साथ हुई .
इन सभी प्रहरियों को दिल्ली पुलिस ने बाकायदा प्रशिक्षण देने का काम किया है जिसके बाद इन्हें रोहिणी जिला DCP के द्वारा शपथ भी दिलाई गई।
दिल्ली पुलिस कमिश्नर अमूल्य पट्नायक इस मौके पर बतौर विशिष्ठ अतिथी मौजूद रहे। दिल्ली पुलिस कमिश्नर ने प्रहरियों के बीच किट का वितरण भी किया और साथ ही अच्छा काम करने वाले प्रहरियों को सर्टिफिकेट और कैश रिवार्ड्स से भी सम्मानित किया गया।
पुलिस कमिश्नर अमूल्य पटनायक ने कम्युनिटी पुलिसिंग के महत्व और प्रहरी कार्यक्रम पर उपस्थित लोगों को सम्बोधित किया।
इस मौके पर सात सौ पचास प्रहरियों के अलावा सैंकड़ों की संख्या में पुलिस अधिकारी , आरडब्लूए प्रतिनिधी और फेडरेशन और आरडब्लूए रोहिणी के पदाधिकारी भी मौजूद थे। सभी ने दिल्ली पुलिस के 'प्रहरी' मुहीम की सराहना की और हर तरह से सहयोग करने की भी बात कही।
रोहिणी जिला डीसीपी ऋषिपाल ने बताया की कम्युनिटिंग पुलिसिंग और क्षेत्र की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को चुस्त दुरुस्त रखने के लिये दिल्ली पुलिस , प्रहरी और नागरिक मिल कर काम करेंगे जिससे इस तरह की मुहीम को और बल मिलेगा।
