ATA hails Bukhari for ensuring teachers welfare

All Teachers Association (ATA), J&K on Friday hailed Education Minister, Syed Mohd Altaf Bukhari for suppression all the previous Govt orders for the welfare of the teachers.

Briefing media persons, State President ATA, Mrignayani Salathia welcomed the passing of Government Order No 940- Edu of 2017 dated November 17, 2017 which has been passed in suppression of earlier government orders including Government Order No 66 EDU of 2017, which was detrimental to the interests of teachers who had obtained degrees through distance mode. With the passing of Government Order No 940- Edu of 2017 dated November 17, 2017, the teachers who have obtained degrees through distance mode shall not be subject to any written test as was envisaged under Government Order No 66 Education of 2017..
