This weekend owes its share to one of the highly anticipated movies, Tanu Weds Manu 2! Yeah..the same movie that has been doing the rounds ever since the project was announced. It also boasts an ensemble of Kangana Ranaut, R. Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill and Deepak Dobriyal amongst others. So, are you hearing me? I am taking you to our quick film review that’ll help you decide on whether to watch or not watch the film! Coming to the film’s plot – it is the story of Tanu and Manu’s life four years hence. This time Kangana is in a double role — Tanu, who has been married to Manu R Madhavan for four years, and a Haryanvi athlete preparing for a big event. There's confusion galore when Manu is drawn to the sporting star, who is drastically different from his spunky biwi. Wait..there’s more! While the first film delved into pre-marriage complexities, the sequel explores the conflict in marital life. The plot is funnier, more twisted. Also, it's not Kangana's character of Tanu that will be de-glam, we are talking about Datto, the new character in the reboot. Boy, her second avatar is completely different from what we have seen her as so far! She sports a bob cut hairdo, big goofy teeth, and chunky sneakers. By the looks of it we can tell that Datto is nothing like either Tanu or Kangana! All in all..the sequel really connects with the audience across the country. So watch it to love it and here's our rating- 4 stars on 5!
