After almost four years together and a two-year engagement, Linda Hogan and her much younger partner, Charlie Hill, have parted ways.
'There was a lot of therapy involved, and the couple realized they needed to do their own thing,' Linda's attorney Raymond Rafool told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. 'The realization came this weekend. But it was a mutual decision, and a whole new chapter for both of them.'
The relationship was shrouded in controversy when it was first formed in 2008 around the time Linda's son with ex husband Hulk Hogan, Nick, served a eight-month jail sentence over a driving accident that gravely injured his passenger. Linda was 48 at the time, while Hill was 19, and a school acquaintance of daughter Brooke Hogan.
The couple recently appeared on VH1's show, 'Couple's Therapy,' where celebrity couples attempt to salvage their relationships.

The 52-year-old ex-wife of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and her much-younger beau Charley Hill, 23, decided to call off their engagement after some serious soul-searching and therapy, Linda announced on Facebook Tuesday.
'Ok... My status has changed. I am now single,' she wrote to her fans. 'After the great therapy we had together and time to think and concentrate on who we are and who we want to be, Charley and I decided that we should each travel through life in different directions.'
Linda Hogan and Hill, who is one year younger than the Hogans’ daughter Brooke, began dating four years ago and revealed their engagement in 2010.
Though the couple was set to be married last summer on Linda Hogan’s yacht Alimony, the pair opted to go to therapy instead, a decision that they spoke about on VH1’s 'Couples Therapy.'
Hulk, 57, and Linda Hogan had their own share of issues as well.
Following their divorce in late 2007 after 24 years of marriage, the duo became embattled in a series of back-and-forths after Linda Hogan claimed in her memoir that her husband was physically abusive during their marriage.
