Penyidik Direktorat Kriminal Umum Polda Metro Jaya memanggil akademisi Rocky Gerung. Rocky akan dimintai keterangan sebagai saksi terkait kasus hoax penganiayaan Ratna Sarumpaet.
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Argo Yuwono menyebut pihaknya akan meminta keterangan dari Rocky. Ia dijadwalkan diperiksa pada Selasa (27/11/2018) pukul 14.00 WIB.
“Pak Rocky Gerung kita panggil karena dalam pemeriksaan itu RS (rumah sakit) dia menyebutkan ada pengiriman foto. Nanti akan kita kroscek,” ungkap Argo Yuwono.
Selain Rocky, penyidik akan memeriksa Wakil Ketua Badan Pemenangan Prabowo-Sandi Nanik Sudaryati.
Seperti diketahui, Ratna Sarumpaet telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka penyebaran berita bohong alias hoax. Ratna disangkakan dengan UU Peraturan Hukum Pidana dan UU ITE.
Ratna menjadi tersangka setelah polisi menerima laporan soal hoax penganiayaan. Ratna memang mengakui kebohongannya setelah polisi membeberkan fakta-fakta penelusuran isu penganiayaan.
