U Turn is a remake of Kannada film of the same name, which is directed by Pawan Kumar, who also made the original version. The upcoming film stars Rahul Ravindran and Bhumika Chawla in important roles.

On the other hand, Shailaja Reddy Alludu, a family drama, has Ramya Krishnan and Anu Emmanuel in the lead roles. The film is directed by Maruthi, who is known for his film Mahanubavudu.
