സിക്കിം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പവന്‍കുമാര്‍ ചാലിംഗ് ആണ് ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജോലിയെന്ന പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്. തലസ്ഥാനമായ ഗാംഗ്‌ടോക്കില്‍ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി 12,000 യുവാക്കള്‍ക്ക് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജോലിയുടെ നിയമന ഉത്തരവു നല്‍കി. ഗാംഗ്‌ടോക്കില്‍ നടന്ന തൊഴില്‍ മേളയിലാണ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിയമന ഉത്തരവുകള്‍ കൈമാറിയത്. പുതിയ പദ്ധതിയില്‍ നിലവില്‍ കുടുംബത്തില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജോലിയുള്ള കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ജോലി ലഭിക്കില്ല.
സിക്കിം അഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രാലയത്തിലാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ 12,000 പേര്‍ക്ക് ജോലി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
