पूरा उत्तर भारत कोहरे की घनी चादर में लिपटा हुआ है। दिल्ली एनसीआऱ में घने कोहरे की वजह से आज सुबह विजिविलिटी 50 मीटर से भी कम रही। वहीं विजिविलिटी कम होने से दिल्ली आने वाली 81 ट्रेनें देरी से चल रही हैं, जबकि 16 ट्रेनों के समय में बदलाव किया गया है। कोहरे से सड़कों पर जगह-जगह लंबा ट्रेफिक जाम रहा । घने कोहरे का असर सिर्फ रेल सेवाओं और लोगों पर ही नहीं, बल्कि हवाई उड़ानों पर भी पड़ा है। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक बिहार, झारखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में घने कोहरे की वजह से लोगों को काफी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। खास बात यह है कि कोहरा भले ही घना हो लेकिन तापमान अभी भी सामान्य के आस-पास ही बना हुआ है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार आने वाले दिनों में दिल्ली एनसीआर, पश्चिम उत्तर प्रदेश, पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखंड, और पश्चिम बंगाल में कई जगहों पर और भी घना कोहरा पड़ सकता है। इसके चलते मौसम विभाग ने स्थानीय प्रशासन को सतर्क कर दिया है और लोगों को सलाह देते हुए कहा है कि अगर ज़रुरी हो तो ही सफर करें।
