In an embarrassment for the ruling Pinarayi Vijayan government in Kerala, a High Court-appointed monitoring committee has criticised Kerala Police for facilitating the entry of women in the menstruating age group inside the Sabarimala temple. In a report, the committee has cited that the arrangements made by Kerala Police in order to facilitate the entry of Kanakadurga and Bindu were 'unauthorised'.

ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട 51 യുവതികൾക്ക് സുരക്ഷ നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് കോടതിയെ സർക്കാർ അറിയിച്ചു. അതിന്റെ പട്ടികയും സുപ്രീംകോടതിയിൽ സർക്കാർ സമർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ പട്ടികയിൽ യുവതികളുടെ പേരും മേൽവിലാസവുമടക്കമുള്ള വിശദാംശങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്. ശബരിമലയിലെ സ്ഥിതിഗതികൾ നിരീക്ഷിക്കാൻ മൂന്ന് പേരടങ്ങിയ നിരീക്ഷകസമിതിയെ കേരളാ ഹൈക്കോടതി നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ടെന്ന് സർക്കാർ കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചു. മുതിർന്ന അഭിഭാഷകനായ വിജയ് ഹൻസരിയയാണ് സംസ്ഥാനസർക്കാരിന് വേണ്ടി ഹാജരായത്.
കനകദുര്‍ഗയും ബിന്ദുവും സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച ഹര്‍ജിയിൽ ഇവർക്ക് മുഴുവന്‍സമയ സുരക്ഷ നല്കണമെന്നും കോടതി പറഞ്ഞു.
ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് രഞ്ജന്‍ ഗൊഗൊയ് അധ്യക്ഷനായ മൂന്നംഗബെഞ്ചിന്റെതാണ് വിധി.ശുദ്ധിക്രിയ നടത്തിയ ക്ഷേത്രം തന്ത്രിക്കെതിരെയായ കോടതിയലക്ഷ്യനടപടി അഞ്ചംഗ ബെഞ്ച് പരിഗണിക്കുമെന്നും ഹർജി പരിഗണിക്കവെ കോടതി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ജനുവരി രണ്ടിന് പുലര്‍ച്ചെ ശബരിമല ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തി. അതിനുശേഷം സാമൂഹ്യമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെയും അല്ലാതെയും നിരന്തരം ഭീഷണി വരുന്നതിനാല്‍ ഒളിച്ചുകഴിയേണ്ട അവസ്ഥയിലാണ്. മുഴുവന്‍സമയ സുരക്ഷ നല്‍കണമെന്നായിരുന്നു കനകദുര്‍ഗയുടെയും ബിന്ദുവിന്‍റെയും പ്രധാനയാവശ്യം.

വിദേശത്തുനിന്നെത്തിയ സംഘത്തിലുൾപ്പെട്ട, 40-നും 50-നും ഇടയിൽ പ്രായമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ശബരിമല ദർശനം നടത്തിയതായാണ് വിവരം. ഇവരുടെയെല്ലാം പ്രായവും മലകയറിയ തീയതിയും സമയവും ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ സുപ്രീംകോടതിയിൽ നൽകുന്ന റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കുമെന്നും ഉന്നതവൃത്തങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വനിതാമതിൽ അരങ്ങേറുന്നതിനു മുമ്പും പിമ്പുമായി യുവതികൾ മലചവിട്ടിയെന്ന വിവരമാണ് പോലീസ് നൽകുന്നത്.
മൂന്നു ദിവസംമുമ്പ് ശബരിമലയിലെത്തിയ 25 അംഗ മലേഷ്യൻ സംഘത്തിൽ മൂന്നു യുവതികൾ ദർശനം നടത്തിയെന്ന് പോലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച മലചവിട്ടിയ ശ്രീലങ്കൻ യുവതി ഉൾപ്പെടെ പത്തുപേർ ദർശനം നടത്തി. അതേസമയം, ഇക്കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഔദ്യോഗിക സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിന് ഇവർ ഇതുവരെ തയ്യാറായിട്ടില്ല.
യുവതികൾ മലചവിട്ടിയ വിവരം രഹസ്യമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കാനായിരുന്നു തീരുമാനം.
സർക്കാരിനും പോലീസിലെ ഉന്നതർക്കും ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് അറിവുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വിദേശത്തുനിന്നെത്തിയവർക്കു പുറമേ ഇതരസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽനിന്നെത്തിയ സംഘങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പവും 50 വയസ്സിൽ താഴെയുള്ള വനിതകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതായും പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു.
യുവതികൾ മലചവിട്ടിയ വിവരം രഹസ്യമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കാനായിരുന്നു തീരുമാനം. സർക്കാരിനും പോലീസിലെ ഉന്നതർക്കും ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് അറിവുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വിദേശത്തുനിന്നെത്തിയവർക്കു പുറമേ ഇതരസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽനിന്നെത്തിയ സംഘങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പവും 50 വയസ്സിൽ താഴെയുള്ള വനിതകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതായും പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു. സുപ്രീംകോടതി വിധിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ യുവതികളെ കയറ്റിയെന്ന് കോടതിയെ അറിയിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ്‌ കൂടുതൽ യുവതികളെ എത്തിക്കുന്നതെന്നാണ് സൂചന. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആറ്റിങ്ങലിൽ നടത്തിയ പ്രസംഗത്തിലുൾപ്പെടെ ശ്രീലങ്കൻ യുവതി ശബരിമല ദർശനം നടത്തിയത് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഹർത്താലനുകൂലികളെ പരിഹസിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ സ്ത്രീകൾ ശബരിമല കയറുന്നതിനെ സർക്കാർ അനുകൂലിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.
