Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday said the recent trend in the Indian rupee's devaluation has been caused due to external factors. 'If you look at the domestic economic situation and global situation, there are no domestic reasons attributable to this (devaluation),' Jaitley said at a media briefing after the Union Cabinet met here.

Rupee's free fall continues as it sinks to an all time low of over 68 against the U.S dollar.
Stock markets tracked the rupee weakness and opened in the red. Sensex plunged 400 points. Early in the day, it made a light recovery but continues to fluctuate.
