कनाडा की एक मस्जिद में गोलीबारी की खबर आ रही है। क्यूबेक सिटी की एक मस्जिद में बंदूकधारियों की गोलीबारी में कम से कम पांच लोगों की मौत हो गई और कई अन्य लोग घायल हो गए। इस हमले के सिलसिले में दो संदिग्धों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। एक प्रत्यक्षदर्शी ने बताया कि तीन बंदूकधारी रविवार शाम शहर के इस्लामिक कल्चरल सेंटर की मस्जिद में दाखिल हुए और गोलियां चलानी शुरु कर दी। घटना के समय मस्जिद के भीतर करीब 40 लोग मौजूद थे। पुलिस ने गोलीबारी में तीसरे संदिग्ध के शामिल होने की संभावनाओं से इंकार नहीं किया है जो मौके से फरार हो गया था। हमले के कारणों का अभी तत्काल पता नहीं चल पाया है। सीबीसी ने फ्रेंच भाषा की अपनी रेडियो कनाडा सर्विस के हवाले से दी गई खबर में बताया कि गोलीबारी रात आठ बजे के बाद हुई जब दर्जनों लोग इस्लामिक कल्चरल सेंटर ऑफ क्यूबेक के अंदर मौजूद थे। सीबीसी ने कहा कि केंद्र के निदेशक ने बताया कि गोलीबारी में कम से कम पांच लोग मारे गए हैं।
