ആരായിരുന്നു ജോർജ് ബുഷ് സീനിയർ
യു.എസിന്റെ 41 ാമത്തെ പ്രസിഡന്റാണ് ജോര്‍ജ് ഹെര്‍ബെര്‍ട്ട് വോക്കര്‍ ബുഷ് എന്ന ജോര്‍ജ് ബുഷ് സീനിയര്‍.
അമേരിക്കൻ മുൻ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോര്‍ജ് ബുഷ് സീനിയർ അന്തരിച്ചു . പാര്‍ക്കിന്‍സണ്‍ രോഗബാധിതനായ ബുഷ് വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി ചികിത്സയിൽ കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു . 94 വയസ്സായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് .അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വക്താവ് ജിം മഗ്രാത് ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെയാണ് മരണ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചത് .പ്രാദേശിക സമയം വെളളിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി 10 .10 ന് ഹൂസ്റ്റണിലായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം .രോഗബാധയെ തുടർന്ന് വീൽ ചെയറിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സമീപകാലത്ത് ശ്വാസകോശ സംബന്ധമായ അസുഖത്തെ തുടർന്ന് പല തവണ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു .ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യ 73 ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപാണു മരിച്ചത്. സീനിയർ ബുഷിന് അഞ്ചു മക്കളും 17 കൊച്ചുമക്കളുമാണ് .യു.എസിന്റെ 41 ാമത്തെ പ്രസിഡന്റാണ് ജോര്‍ജ് ഹെര്‍ബെര്‍ട്ട് വോക്കര്‍ ബുഷ് എന്ന ജോര്‍ജ് ബുഷ് സീനിയര്‍. റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കൻ പാർട്ടി-യിൽ അംഗം ആയിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹം 1989 മുതൽ 1993 വരെ അമേരിക്ക-യുടെ രാഷ്രപതി ആയിരുന്നു. 1981 മുതൽ 1989 വരെ രണ്ട് തവണ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു . ഇറാഖിന്റെ കുവൈത്ത് അധിനിവേശവും സോവിയറ്റ് യൂണിയന്റെ പതനവും ബര്‍ലിന്‍ മതിലിന്റെ തകര്‍ച്ചയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭരണകാലത്താണ്.അമേരിക്കയുടെ രാഷ്ര്ടപതി ആയ അവസാനത്തെ ആൾ ആണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം.അമേരിക്കൻ ചാരസംഘടനയായ സിഐഎയുടെ 11–ാമത് ഡയറക്ടറായും 43–ാമത് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഗൾഫ് യുദ്ധം, ബെർലിൻ മതിൽ തകർച്ച, സോവിയറ്റ് യൂണിയൻ പതനം തുടങ്ങിയ സുപ്രധാന സംഭവങ്ങൾ ബുഷിന്റെ ഭരണകാലത്താണുണ്ടായത്. 1991 ലെ ഗള്‍ഫ് യുദ്ധത്തിലെ അമേരിക്കയുടെ വിജയത്തോടെ ജോര്‍ജ് ബുഷ് സീനിയറിന്റെ ജനകീയത അമേരിക്കയില്‍ വർദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു .എന്നാല്‍ പിന്നീട് സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധിയുടെ കാലത്ത് ഇത് തകര്‍ന്നു. ബുഷ് രണ്ടാം തവണ മത്സരിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിയായ ബില്‍ ക്ലിന്റനോട് പരാജയപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. രണ്ടാം ലോക മഹായുദ്ധത്തില്‍ സേവനം അനുഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ബുഷ് ജോർജ് ബുഷ് സീനിയർ. പൈലറ്റായാണ് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നത്.പിന്നീട് രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കൻ പാർട്ടിയിലായിരുന്നു ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനം. കോണ്‍ഗ്രസംഗം, നയതന്ത്രജ്ഞന്‍ സി.ഐ.എ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ,റൊണാൾഡ്‌ റീഗന്റെ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻറ് എന്നീ സ്ഥാനങ്ങളും വഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.ഗൾഫ് യുദ്ധകാലത്ത് അമേരിക്
