Four militants and a sympathiser were involved in the killing of an army jawan in Kashmir last month, police said on Wednesday.
The sympathiser, identified only as Muzamil, has been arrested, a police spokesperson said.
The 23-year-old Kashmiri trooper, Irfan Dar, of the 175 Territorial Army was abducted when he was on leave and visiting his family in Shopian in south Kashmir.
His bullet-riddled body was found in an orchard on November 25.

जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुलवामा में सेना के जवान शहीद औरंगजेब को शनिवार को पूरे राजकीय सम्मान के साथ सुपुर्द-ए-खाक किया गया. इस मौके पर शहीद जवान औरंगजेब के छोटे भाई ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से अपील की कि जिनती जल्दी हो सके वे उनके भाई की मौत का बदला आतंकियों से लें. बता दें कि गुरुवार को आतंकवादियों द्वारा जवान औरंगजेब की अगवा कर हत्या कर दी गई, जिसका शव बाद में जंगल इलाके में छलनी अवस्था में मिला. औरंगजेब गुरुवार को उस वक्त आतंकवादियों द्वारा अगवा कर लिये गये थे, जब वह ईद की छुट्टियां मनाने अपने घर रजौरी जिला जा रहे थे. पुलिस की टीम को उनका शव पुलवामा में कलामपुरा से दस किलोमीटर की दूरी पर मिला. उनके शरीर पर कई गोलियों के निशान थे. उन्हें गर्दन और सिर में गिलियां मारी गई थी.
