സബ്സിഡികള്‍ ആധാറുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തി വിതരണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞതിലൂടെ രാജ്യത്തിന് 90,000 കോടി രൂപ ലാഭിക്കാനായെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ധനമന്ത്രി അരുണ്‍ ജെയ്റ്റി‍ലി അറിയിച്ചു.തന്‍റെ ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് ബ്ലോഗിലുടെയാണ് ധനമന്ത്രി ഇക്കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്.
ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ വ്യാജമായി കൈപ്പറ്റിയിരുന്ന നിരവധി വ്യാജ ഗുണഭോക്താക്കളെ ഒഴിവാക്കിയതിലൂടെയാണ് സര്‍ക്കാരിന് ഈ നേട്ടം സ്വന്തമാക്കാനായതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന സമഗ്ര ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണ പദ്ധതിയായ ആയുഷ്മാന്‍ ഭാരത് പോലെയുളള വലിയ ക്ഷേമ പരിപാടികള്‍ നടത്താന്‍ ആധാറിന്‍റെ ഉപയോഗത്തിലൂടെ എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ സാധിക്കുമെന്നും ധനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

ഇതുവരെ ആധാറിലൂടെ വിതരണം ചെയ്തത് 1,68,868 കോടി രൂപയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. 2016 ല്‍ ആധാര്‍ ബില്‍ പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് പാസാക്കിയ ശേഷം 28 മാസങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ട് 122 കോടി ആളുകകള്‍ക്ക് ആധാര്‍ നമ്പര്‍ നല്‍കി. 18 വയസ്സിന് മുകളിലെ രാജ്യത്തെ 99 ശതമാനം ആളുകള്‍ക്കും ആധാര്‍ ലഭിച്ചതായി ധനമന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു..
