.. जाकिर नाइक के इस्लामिक रिसर्च फाउंडेशन ने खुलासा किया है कि उनके एनजीओ ने राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन को 50 लाख रुपए का चंदा दिया था और यह डोनेशन साल 2011 में दिया गया था। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी समेत राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी, राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन के ट्रस्टी हैं। अपनी सफाई में फाउंडेशन का कहना है कि डोनेशन उन्हें नहीं, बल्कि उनके साथी संगठन राजीव गांधी चैरीटेबल ट्रस्ट को दिया गया था, जिसे कुछ महीनों में लौटा भी दिया गया था। इसके साथ ही केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने नाइक की संस्था को दुनिया के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से मिले अनुदान की जांच कराने का आदेश दिया है। मंत्रालय की मानें तो नाइक के ट्रस्ट को सऊदी अरब, कतर, यूनाइटेड किंगडम, अमेरिका और यूएई जैसे देशों से फंडिंग होती है और दूसरी ओर जांच एजेंसियों को संदिग्ध मुस्लिम युवकों और कई वारदातों में शामिल आतंकियों के पास से जाकिर नाइक की किताबें और भाषण मिले हैं।

....दरअसल प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुई केंद्रीय बैठक में ज़ाकिर नाइक के एनजीओ इस्लामिक रिसर्च फाउंडेशन पर पांच साल के लिए प्रतिबंध लगाने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी गई है। गृह मंत्रालय की ओर से जल्द ही इस बाबत एक अधिसूचना जारी कर दी जाएगी। अधिकारियों की मानें तो गृह मंत्रालय की छानबीन में यह पता चला है कि ज़ाकिर की एनजीओ के ‘पीस टीवी’ के साथ रिश्ते हैं, जिस पर आतंकवाद फैलाने का आरोप है। ‘पीस टीवी’ एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय इस्लामिक चैनल है। इसके साथ ही नाइक ने आपत्तिजनक कार्यक्रम बनाने के लिए आईआरएफ के विदेशी चंदे ‘पीस टीवी’ को दिए थे। भारत में तैयार किए गए इन ज्यादातर कार्यक्रमों में नाइक के कथित नफरत भरे उपदेश थे, जिसमें ‘पीस टीवी’ के जरिए सभी मुस्लिमों से आतंकवादी बनने की अपील की गई थी। हालांकि सरकार जाकिर के एनजीओ की विदेशी फंडिग पर पहले ही रोक लगा चुकी है।
