जीएसटी काउंसिल की आज पहली बैठक हुई..और इस बैठक में फैसला लिया गया है कि 20 लाख रुपये से ज्यादा के टर्नओवर पर जीएसटी देना होगा. नॉर्थ ईस्ट के लिए यह लिमिट 10 लाख रुपए रखी गई है। इस फैसले से यह साफ हो गया कि देश में कारोबार करने वाली उन कंपनियों को जीएसटी के तहत रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं कराना होगा, जिनका सालाना टर्नओवर 20 लाख रुपए से कम है...वित्त मंत्री अरूण जेटली ने बताया कि इस बात पर आम राय बन गई है कि जीएसटी लागू होने पर राज्यों को दिया जाने वाला मुआवजा नियमित तौर पर दिया जाए. मुआवजे के आकलन के लिए साल 2015-16 को आधार वर्ष माना जाएगा. साथ ही जिनका सालाना टर्न ओवर डेढ करोड़ रुपये से कम होगा उनसे राज्य सरकार कर वसूलेगी...हालांकि जीएसटी रेट को लेकर अभी सहमति बनती नहीं दिखी है। ऐसे में अब इस मुद्दे को फिलहाल अगली मीटिंग तक के लिए टाल दिया गया है..अगले महीने 17, 18 और 19 तारीख को जीएसटी काउंसिल की बैठक होनी है. इसमें टैक्स रेट और स्लैब पर फैसला लिया जाएगा.

अब 21 हजार रुपए मासिक वेतन पाने वाले कर्मचारियों को कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम की स्वास्थ्य बीमा सुविधा मिलेगी। केंद्रीय श्रम मंत्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय की अध्यक्षता में यह फैसला लिया गया। ESIC योजना के तहत स्वास्थ्य बीमा लाभ पाने के लिए अधिकतम वेतन सीमा को मौजूदा 15 हजार रुपए से बढ़ाकर 21 हजार रुपए कर दिया गया है। यही नहीं, इससे अधिक वेतन होने पर भी कर्मचारियों को ESIC सुविधा लेने का विकल्प मिलेगा। वहीं जो कर्मचारी ESIC की योजना के दायरे में आते हैं, अगर उनका वेतन निर्धारित सीमा से अधिक हुआ, तो उनकी सदस्यता और बीमा कवर खत्म कर दिया जाएगा। यह नए नियम एक अक्टूबर से लागू होंगे। निगम ने यह फैसला बढ़ती मंहगाई और सैलरी में हो रही बढ़ोतरी के मद्देनज़र लिया है, लेकिन इस फैसले के बाद इस योजना में करीब 50 लाख कर्मचारी बढ़ जाएंगे। फिलहाल इस योजना में ढाई करोड़ से ज्यादा लोग शामिल हैं।
