मुल्तान के सुल्तान, कॉमेंट्री के रजनीकांत और ट्विटर के बादशाह कहे जाने वाले क्रिकेटर वीरेंद्र सहवाग का आज 38वां जन्मदिन है। सहवाग के जन्मदिन के मौके पर फिल्म स्टार अमिताभ बच्चन, क्रिकेट कमेंटेटर हर्ष भोगले, बॉक्सर विजेंदर सिंह जैसे दिग्गजों ने उन्हें बधाई दी है। सहवाग ने अपने अंदाज़ में जवाब देकर सबका शुक्रिया अदा किया है। आपको बता दें कि वीरू का जन्म आज ही के दिन यानी 20 अक्टूबर 1978 को दिल्ली में हुआ था। सहवाग को बचपन से ही क्रिकेट खेलने का शौक था। इन्होंने महज 7 साल की उम्र में बल्ला थाम लिया था। सहवाग ने अपने क्रिकेट करियर की शुरुआत 1997 में दिल्ली क्रिकेट टीम से की थी। 1998 में वो नार्थन जॉन क्रिकेट टीम में दलीप ट्रॉफी के लिए चुने गए। इस मैच में उन्होंने टॉप स्कोरर में अपनी जगह बनाई। मात्र 70 गेंदों पर सहवाग ने 100 रन जड़े। सहवाग ने अपना पहला अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैच 1999 में पाकिस्तान के ख़िलाफ़ खेला। इस मैच में सहवाग एक रन बनाकर आउट हो गए थे और गेंदबाजी के दौरान तीन ओवरों में 35 रन दे डाले। इसके बाद सहवाग को काफ़ी समय तक टीम में शामिल नहीं किया गया। जिंबाब्वे के ख़िलाफ़ घरेलू सीरीज में 2000 में सहवाग को फिर से टीम में शामिल किया गया।

...दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने आरोप लगाया कि जजों का फोन टैप हो रहा है. दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट के सिल्वर जुबली कार्यक्रम में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की मौजूदी में उन्होंने दावा किया कि जजों के साथ अपनी बैठकों में उन्होंने ‘जजों को आपस में एक-दूसरे से यह कहते हुए सुना है कि उन्हें फोन पर बात नहीं करनी चाहिए, क्योंकि उन्हें टैप किया जा सकता है।’ सीएम केजरीवाल ने कहा कि जब उन्होंने जजों को बताया कि उनके फोन टैप नहीं किए जा सकते, तो ‘उन्होंने जवाब में कहा कि सभी फोन टैप किए जा सकते हैं।’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैं नहीं जानता कि यह बात सच है या नहीं लेकिन इस बात का डर व्यापक तौर पर फैला हुआ है। अगर यह सच है कि फोन टैप किए जा रहे हैं, तो जजों को प्रभावित किया जा सकता है। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री रवि शंकर प्रसाद ने इन आरोपों को सिरे से खारिज कर दिया है...उन्होंने कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार के लिए न्यायपालिका की स्वतंत्रता मूलभूत है और इससे कोई समझौता नहीं किया जा सकता।
