Heavy snow fell in Seiling, OK during the afternoon hours of March 27th, 2009. Snowfall rates approached 1-2' per hour at times and visibilities were reduced to near 1/4th mile. When I left the area to head back toward Oklahoma City that evening, nearly 3-4' was on the ground with drifts to almost a foot. After leaving, several additional inches fell across the region, with total storm accumulations ending up being much higher than what can be observed in my video. When the storm was all said and done Seiling had received nearly 8-10' of snow, with areas just north and west getting up to 25'!.
