Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi (KNKT) membutuhkan sejumlah peralatan canggih untuk melanjutkan pencarian cockpit voice recorder (CVR) pesawat Lion Air JT-610 PK-LQP yang jatuh di perairan Tanjung Karawang, Jawa Barat beberapa waktu lalu.
Pihak KNKT mengatakan CVR merupakan bagian penting dari black box untuk melengkapi data penyebab jatuhnya pesawat nahas tersebut.
'Pencarian (CVR) masih terus dilakukan. Kita butuh kapal yang punya crane dan memiliki daya angkat yang cukup, alat selam, penyelam dengan waktu menyelam cukup lama, alat sedot lumpur untuk menyedot lumpur di sekitar lokasi, dan kapal yang dapat berhenti di satu titik tanpa bergeser', ungkap Ketua Sub Komite Investigasi Kecelakaan Penerbangan sekaligus Ketua Tim Investigasi Lion Air JT-610 Nurcahyo Utomo di Hotel Novotel, Bangka Tengah, Selasa (27/11/2018).
Sebelumnya, KNKT sudah mengerahkan sejumlah peralatan canggih termasuk ping detector, namun upaya tersebut belum membuahkan hasil yang maksimal.
KNKT menyatakan pihaknya akan terus mencari CVR hingga batas waktu yang belum ditentukan.

Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi (KNKT) meluruskan pemberitaan yang menyebutkan, pesawat Lion Air PK-LQP tak laik terbang.
Ketua Sub Komite Investigasi Kecelakaan Penerbangan KNKT Nurcahyo Utomo mengatakan di Jakarta, Kamis (29/11/2018), pesawat Lion Air PK-LQP laik terbang berdasarkan prosedur berlaku dalam penerbangan di Indonesia. Baik dalam penerbangan JT-610 rute Jakarta-Pangkalpinang maupun penerbangan JT-043 rute Denpasar-Jakarta.
Menurut KNKT, peraturan di Indonesia menyebutkan pesawat dinyatakan laik terbang jika aircraft flight maintenance log (AFML) telah ditandatangani engineer (releasman).
Namun kondisi kelaik-terbangan dapat berakhir bila saat terbang pesawat mengalami gangguan. Dalam kondisi ini keputusan untuk melanjutkan terbang atau segera mendarat berada di tangan captain atau pilot in command.
