Old Spice is out with a new advertisement starring ripped actor Terry Crews, and this one is an insane, interactive, musical treat.
The commercial, entitled 'Danger Zone,' shares much in common with previous Old Spice ads, featuring an intense Crews with his shirt off spouting nonsense manly-talk straight at the camera and the viewer: In this particular spot, Crews simply flexes his muscles, each of which is attached to a different makeshift musical instrument; this creates an inspirational and mesmerizing Old Spice jingle, the lyrics of which are mostly just the word 'MUSCLE' shouted over and over again over a stomping drumbeat.

Sure, it’s just sort of silly and gets a little boring after about a minute of messing around, but realize that this is as much of an ad for W+K, prodco MJZ, VFX company The Mill and Vimeo itself as much as it is for Old Spice. I decided to challenge myself and remix it using ONLY the samples given.
No extra synthesizers, no extra drum kits, ONLY the samples from the video were used! I cut them all together, edited them down and put them all in Ableton Live where I worked some magic to make the track you are about to hear! It took a TON of effects, editing, and processing to get it to sound like this.

Kadai Masala is a flavourful Indian spice blend that can make ordinary curry dishes extraordinary. Basically we roast whole spices and then grind them to make this masala powder.
Ingredients/ Method
(masala would be enough to prepare 1-2 curry dishes)
12-15 Black peppercorn
5-6 green cardamom pods
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1.5 tbsp coriander seeds
5-6 cloves
You can also grind bay leaf and cinnamon stick or use them as such in your dish
Dry roast all your whole spices and then grind them to make a powder (masala) and you it in your dishes ( towards the end of the preparation method)
