श्री रामलीला मंचन प्रारंभ होने से पूर्व हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी अफज़लगढ़ में रामलीला कमेटी द्वारा हनुमान ध्वजा के साथ भव्य शोभयात्रा निकाली गई। पुराने रामलीला स्थल से ध्वज पताका के साथ शोभायात्रा निकाली गई। इस अवसर पर बड़े शिव मंदिर में पंडित रमेश चन्द्र गौड़ व ब्रजवासी शर्मा के सानिध्य में पूजा कराई गई तत्पश्चात रामलीला मैदान में भूमि पूजन व हवन यज्ञ कराया गया। रामलीला कमेटी के प्रधान दिनेश कौशिक ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि 6 और 7 अक्टूबर की मध्यारात्रि में अतिथि द्वारा फीता काटकर रामलीला का उद्घाटन किया जायेगा और इसके उपरांत रामलीला का मंचन किया जायेगा। इस दौरान रामलीला कमेटी के सदस्यों सहित नगर और क्षेत्र के गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

जनपद बिजनौर के अफज़लगढ़ में ढोल नगाड़ों और अखाड़े के साथ हर्षोल्लास से राम बारात निकाली गई जिसमें सैकड़ों लोगों ने शामिल होकर धर्मलाभ अर्जित किया।
अफज़लगढ़ में चल रहे रामलीला मंचन के अंतर्गत 5 वें दिन प्राचीन बड़े शिव मंदिर से राम बारात का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें बारात के लिये बैंड बाजे व ढोल नगाड़े के साथ भगवान राम, लक्ष्मण, भरत, शत्रुघन और विश्वामित्र आदि की सुंदर झांकियां निकाली गई। राम बारात में रामलीला कमेटी के प्रधान दिनेश कौशिक ने अलग घोड़े पर सवार होकर बारात की अगुवाई की। राम बारात में हर वर्ष की तरह अखाड़े का भी आयोजन किया गया जिसमें युवाओं द्वारा जमकर करतब दिखाये गये। राम बारात नगर के मुख्य मार्गों से होती हुई बड़े शिव मंदिर पर पहुंचकर सम्पन्न हुई। राम बारात के समापन पर श्रद्धालुओं के लिए भंडारे का भी आयोजन किया गया।
उधर जनपद बिजनौर के स्योहारा में भी धूम-धाम के साथ राम बारात का आयोजन किया गया। राम बारात में कमेटी द्वारा सजाई गई सुन्दर एवं मनमोहक झांकियां आकर्षण का मुख्य केन्द्र रहीं। वहीं ढोल नगाड़ों की थाप और नृत्य की झांकियो ने भी लेागों का मन मोह लिया। साथ ही राम बारात में शामिल अखाड़े में भी युवाओं ने जमकर करतब दिखाये। राम बारात का नगर में विभिन्न स्थानों पर फूल बरसाकर ससम्मान स्वागत किया गया। स्वागत करने वालों में व्यापारी नेता अरूण कुमार वर्मा सहित नगर के गणमान्य लेाग शामिल रहे। राम बारात में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की दृष्टि से स्योहारा थानाध्यक्ष आशीष कुमार तोमर भारी पुलिस बल के साथ मुस्तैद रहे।

स्योहारा में नगर के रामलीला मैदान में हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी रामलीला आयोजन के दौरान भरत मिलाप के अवसर पर जुलूस का आयोजन किया गया।जुलूस नगर के मुख्य मार्ग होता हुआ वापस रामलीला मैदान पर पहुंचकर संपन्न हुआ।जुलूस का नगर में सपा जिला सचिव राजपाल प्रजापति व्यापार मंडल के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष अरुण वर्मा शहीद नगर में अनेक स्थान पर स्वागत किया गया। भरत मिलाप जुलूस में भगवान राम लक्ष्मण भरत शत्रुघ्न हनुमान सुग्रीव आदि की सुंदर-सुंदर झांकियां नगर वासियों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बनी रहे। जुलूस को सफल बनाने में राजवीर सिंह त्यागी राजकुमार प्रजापति महेंद्र शर्मा पप्पू पंडित सुरेंद्र शर्मा सुनील शर्मा राघवेंद्र सिंह चौहान आदि का सहयोग रहा। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से भारी पुलिस बल भी तैनात रहा।
उधर चांदपुर में भी राम सेवक मंडल रामलीला कमेटी के संयोजन में भरत मिलाप के अवसर पर शोभायात्रा धूमधाम से निकाली गई शोभायात्रा में शामिल झांकियां नगर वासियों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बनी रही शोभा यात्रा का शुभारंभ सरगम टॉकीज से होते हुए सातों इमली शिव शंकर मूर्ति दिल्ली बाजार नेहरू चौक हनुमान मंदिर होते हुए रामलीला मैदान पहुंचकर संपन्न हुआ। इस दौरान रामलीला मंचन में सहयोग करने वाले लोगों को पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित भी किया गया। चांदपुर विधायक कमलेश सैनी उप जिला अधिकारी हिमांशु वर्मा पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी शुभ सूचित आदि ने कार्यक्रम की सराहना की।सुधीर कुमार अग्रवाल के संचालन में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के समापन पर मीडिया कर्मियों पुलिसकर्मियों सहित अन्य को भी पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया। कमेटी अध्यक्ष विकास गुप्ता रॉकी राकेश गुप्ता बृजेश कौशिक राजकुमार बंसल पवन कुमार गोयल आदि का सहयोग रहा।
