Salamabad Cross LoC Traders Union while reacting to the order of State Government regarding banning four tradable items have threatened to windup the business if authorities fail to revoke the order.
While addressing a press conference here, Hilal Turkie, the president of Salamabad Cross LoC Traders Union (SCLTU) said that traders engaged in LoC trade are dismayed by the actions of Trader Facilitation Officer (TFO) Customs and Quarantine Section over ban of four main items (Pistachio, Apple, Charmagaz and Anardana) out of 21 agreed tradable items.

Terming cross-LoC trade a confidence building measure (CBM) of great significance for J&K, Minister for Roads & Buildings Naeem Akhtar today said it is a step that could pave the way for larger reconciliation in the region.

पुंछ जिले में चक्कां दा बाग की राह-ए-मिलन से होने वाला क्रास एलओसी ट्रेड दो दिन बंद रहने के बाद वीरवार को बहाल हो गया। भारत की तरफ से सामान से लदे 35 ट्रक नियंत्रण रेखा के उस पार पीओके के तेत्रिनोट क्रास एलओसी ट्रेड सेंटर गए, जबकि उस पार पीओके से भी सामान से लदे 19 ट्रक एलओसी ट्रेड सेंटर पहुंचे। इसके बाद राह-ए-मिलन के गेट बंद कर दिए गए।ट्रेड कस्टोडियन फरीद अहमद कोहली ने बताया कि पुलवामा हमले के बाद पैदा हुए तनावपूर्ण हालात को देखते हुए दो दिनों के लिए ट्रेड स्थगित किया गया था और जब तक केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से इस संबंध में कोई आदेश नहीं आता है, चक्कां दा बाग की राह-ए-मिलन के रास्ते क्रास एलओसी ट्रेड जारी रहेगा। .
