चुनाव आयोग ने केंद्र सरकार को बजट पेश करने की मंजूरी दे दी, आम बजट अब 1 फरवरी को ही आएगा। लेकिन इसके साथ ही उसने शर्त रखी है कि इसमें पांच चुनावी राज्यों से जुड़ी किसी योजना का ऐलान नहीं किया जा सकता और न ही इन राज्यों में सरकार की उपलब्धियों का बखान होना चाहिए. चुनाव आयोग ने अपने आदेश में ये भी साफ किया है कि सरकार इन पांच राज्यों में अपनी नीतियों और उपलब्धियों का बखान बजट भाषण में नहीं करेगी, क्योंकि ऐसा करने से स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष चुनाव की भावना पर असर पड़ेगा। आपको बतादें कि बता दें कि पंजाब, यूपी, उत्तराखंड, मणिपुर और गोवा राज्यों में 4 फरवरी से 8 मार्च के बीच विधानसभा के चुनाव होने हैं।
