It is the sixth day of the London Olympics and Google has chosen this time, to represent hockey as its chosen sport for Wednesday.
Hockey has had a new home in London. It is being contested on a blue turf for the first time. While there have been many who have condemned the decision and said that the turf has a lot of uneven bounce, several crucial battles have already been fought on it.
Hockey was dominated in the early 20th century by India. The team made a fighting start to their campaign in the Olympics 2012 as well. They however could not stop the Dutch from a 3-2 win despite coming back strongly in the second half, on Monday.
The Indians now play New Zealand on Wednesday.
