हमीरपुर मेडिकल कालेज में स्टाफ नर्स के द्वारा सीनियर स्टाफ नर्स की प्रताडना के चलते की गई आत्महत्या मामले में कांग्रेस ने जांच की मांग की है। मामले को लेकर प्रदेष कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता प्रेम कौषल ने हमीरपुर में मेडिकल कालेज के साथ साथ पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली पर सवाल उठाए है। प्रेम कौषल ने मेडिक्ल कालेज में अल्ट्रासाउंड मषीन के खराब चलने से मरीजों को दिक्कतें पेष आ रही है क्योंकि मषीन गलत रिपोर्ट दे रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि गर्भवती महिलाओं की टेस्ट रिपोर्ट सही नहीं दिया जा रहा है जिस कारण गर्भवती महिलाओं को दिक्कतें पेष आ रही है।

हमीरपुर मेडिकल कालेज में में वार्ड सिस्टर की प्रताडना से तंग आकर स्टाफ नर्स के आत्महत्या करने का मामला सामने आया है। हमीरपुर के बारल गांव में किराए के भवन में रह रही स्टाफ नर्स मोनिका कनोरिया उम्र 32 ने पंखे से फंदा लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। घटना के समय मकान में कोई नहीं था। मृतक मोनिका का एक पांच साल का बेटा है और जब स्कूल से देर षाम को बच्चे को लेकर मकान मालिक कमरे में गया तो देखा कि फंदे से मोनिका लटकी हुई थी। मोनिका ने मरने से पहले सूसाईड नोट भी लिखा है जिस में वार्ड सिस्टर पर प्रताडना का आरोप लगाया है। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और पोस्टर्माटम करवाने के बाद षव को परिजनों को सौंप दिया है।
