Watch this exclusive movie review of OMG Oh My God

OMG Oh My God! is a cinematic adaptation of the popular Gujarati play 'Kaanji Viruddh Kaanji'. Kanji Bhai played by Paresh Rawal decides to file a case against God after he sees his business struck down overnight and due to what people call an act of God. This begins a roller-coaster court case, which grabs the attention of people all over the country and puts pandits, babas and devis in the witness box. The real twist in the story is the appearance of God aka Lord Krishna himself played by the suave Khiladi, Akshay Kumar.

The high points of the movie are Akshay Kumar playing the character of God, Paresh Rawal questioning God and the institution of religion and God and Kanjibhai trying to prove the other wrong, and of course the funny one-liners and these are what make OMG, Oh My God!

Paresh Rawal is the perfect choice for Kanji Bhai. Great comic timing, expressions and brilliant dialogue delivery have been a hallmark of the man and he hasn't disappointed this time either. Mithun Chakraborty portrays the gay god man with subtlety and brilliance. We even have a glimpse of Sonakshi Sinha shaking a hip with the dance master Prabhudeva and 'Go Govinda!' is stupendous on the big screen. And last but not the least is Akshay Kumar. Looks like he has put the idiocy of Joker behind him with this one and the omens do look good for him as this role is tailor made for.
