The police in Andhra Pradesh's Eluru town is seeking the custody of the man accused of killing 10 persons with cyanide laced 'prasadam' during the last 20 months.West Godavari Superintendent of Police Navdeep Singh Grawel told IANS on Wednesday that they have applied for police remand of Vellanki Simhadri, alias Siva, for further interrogation.The police hope to gather more evidence of the shocking case during the questioning of the accused.The horror came to light on Tuesday after the police announced the arrest of 38-year-old Siva, who used the same modus operandi to commit the crime as was used by Kerala's Jolly Joseph, the woman who was recently arrested for killing six relatives over 14 years using cyanide.

CBS Chicago and WGN are reporting a Chicago medical examiner says a lottery winner that died last year was killed with cyanide only a day after winning nearly $1 million in the Illinois Lottery.
Cook County Medical Examiner Stephen Cina says an initial exam initially found Urooj Khan died of natural causes, however a relative asked officials to investigate further.
Following a full toxicology test, it was revealed Khan ingested a deadly amount of cyanide and his death was re-classified as a homicide.
Khan died on July 20, one day after collecting the $425,000 lump sum for his $1 million lottery win.
