Pune (Maharashtra): It is for the first time in Maharashtra Assembly elections, Barcode scanner are being used to identify the voter details. Voters need not to carry their ID cards along with them in near future. Through QR code, polling officer can easily get identity of the voter. It is believed that this new technology will eliminate bogus voters.
