The Democratic National Convention is in full swing, with tons of politicians and eager supporters cheering on Obama in his quest to get reelected as president.
One of the highlights slated for tonight's festivities includes celebrity speakers Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, and Kerry Washington.
Scarlett has long been a fan of President Obama—she joked with reporters in 2008 that she was engaged to him, and announced, 'My heart belongs to Barack.'
She also hosted a fundraiser for Obama's reelection back in NYC in February, where she helped launch a collection of designer goods that were sold to benefit the campaign.
As for Kerry Washington, she currently sits on Obama's Arts and Humanities committee... a position he appointed her in 2009.
Kerry recently urged voters to, '...have our President's back {because} he needs our help, and voting is not enough.'
Eva Longoria is yet another celebrity speaking tonight, who's been VERY politically involved since her rise to fame.
