The meteorological department has sounded an alert for parts of Jharkhand with prediction of extreme rainfall and high-velocity winds at speed up to 130 kmph on May 26 and 27 in the backdrop of cyclone Yaas.

एंकर लिंक- भारी बारिश के चलते महाराष्ट्र के महाड मेंएक बड़ी दुर्घटना घटी है। मुंबई-गोवा हाईवे पर सावित्रि नदी पर बना पुल ढह गया है। पुल ढहने से दो सरकारी बसों समेत कई वाहनों के बह जाने की आशंका जताई जा रही है।….. दोनों बसों में करीब 22 यात्री मौजूद थे, जिसमें से 18 मुसाफिर, दो ड्राइवर और दो कंडक्टर लापता हैं। भारतीय तट रक्षक बल ने लापता वाहनों की तलाशी के लिए चेतक हेलीकॉप्टर भेजे हैं। हालांकि रात से ही एनडीआरएफ की टीमें रेस्क्यू में जुटी हुई हैं लेकिन भारी बारिश और पुल के पास जलभराव होने की वजह से रेस्क्यू टीमों को काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। आपको बता दें कि सावित्रि नदी पर दो समानांतर पुल थे, एक नया पुल है और एक का निर्माण ब्रिटिश काल के दौरान हुआ था, जिसमें से पुराना वाला पुल ढहा है। राहत कार्य में जुटी एनडीआरएफ की टीमें लापता लोगों को तलाशने में लगी हुई है, जिसके बाद राजमार्ग पर यातायात रोक दिया गया है।
क्लोंजिंग- फिलहाल बडे़ स्तर पर तलाशी अभियान चलाया जा रहा है और इस पूरे मामले पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने महाराष्ट्र के सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस से बात कर हरसंभव मदद का भरोसा दिया है।
