Mangaluru (Karnataka): 'Nava Bharat' night school has been ray of hope for people of underprivileged sections of society since pre-independence era. School is basically supported by day school teachers and few business persons. The school was started by a teacher named Khalid Mohammed. Most of the students at the night school are daily wage workers, waiters, house wives, sweepers, bank employees and auto rickshaw drivers.
