Hulk Hogan is gearing up to take legal action following the release of a sex tape showing him having sex with an identified female, believed to be the ex-wife of his best friend radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge, Heather Clem.

The star can be seen engaging in sex with a brunette in the one minute clip released on Gawker.com, that the wrestler's lawyer told David R. Houston TMZ was made without his knowledge.

He said: 'This tape was made secretly without Hulk's knowledge or permission. We are going to do everything in our power to figure out who did it. Anyone displaying the tape will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.'

The website, who were reportedly given the footage from an anonymous source for free, will soon received a cease and desist letter from the wrestler's lawyers demanding the footage is taken down, according to sources.

The one minute clip is hardly flattering to the ageing star. It is reported to have been filmed before his split from wife Linda Hogan 2007, and shows Hulk receiving oral sex before asking the woman to 'climb on top of him'. A man's voice, believed to be Bubba, tells the couple: 'You guys do your thing, I'll be in the office if you need me.'.
