कर्नाटक से इंसानियत को शर्मसार करने वाली एक घटना सामने आई है जहां एक युवक सड़क पर दुर्घटना का शिकार होकर मदद की गुहार करता रहा और लोग तमाशबीन बनकर उसका विडियो बनाते रहे। मामला कर्नाटक के कोप्पल का है, जहां सड़क दुर्घटना में एक 18 साल का लड़का खून से लथपथ मदद की गुहार लगाता रहा...लेकिन किसी ने उस युवक की मदद करने की ज़हमत नहीं उठाई। ऐसा नहीं था की सड़क पर घायल लड़के के आस-पास कोई मौजूद नहीं था...आप वीडियों में साफ देख सकते हैं कि घायल लड़के के आस-पास काफी लोग खडे हैं। लेकिन मदद करने की बजाय तमाशबीन खड़े लोग खून से लथपथ उसकी तस्वीरें खींचते रहे। कैमरे में दर्ज इस घटना में लड़का लगभग 25 मिनट तक दर्द में तड़पता रहा, जिसके बाद उसे नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया। घटना कल सुबह की है जब अनवर अली साइकिल से उस बाजार की ओर जा रहा था जहां वह काम करता था। पुलिस ने बताया कि होसपेट से हुबली जा रही राज्य परिवहन की एक बस उसे टक्कर मारकर निकल गई। काफी देर बाद उसे एक एंबुलेंस से नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया।
