Basanth Reddy Came from a farming family, lived in Gulf for a while. Patkuri Basanth Reddy has become the face of the Gulf Community and working for their welfare.
Born and brought up in Nizamabad District, Telangana State of India. Lived in Gulf for many years and moved back to Hyderabad to serve the community.

1 June 2016 appointed as a President for Telangana State National Human Rights and Crime Control Organisation (Affiliated with United Nations). on 15 November 2015, he is selected for Prof.Jayashankar National Award – 2015. The award presented by the Kerala Government at 5th South Activists Conference held at Kanyakumari in December. Over 500 delegates from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Pondicherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana attended this prestigious event.

Basanth Reddy was appointed as a migrant workers coordination, media convener for Gulf. Being an activist in this area, he is so passionate about improving their living standards, supporting the Gulf migrants by educating them on migration process to ensure their safety while living overseas.
Prior to entering in to this role Basanth Reddy lived in Gulf for several years where, he has witnessed poor working conditions, laborers being cheated by the migration agents. He really moved by the issues of migrants particularly by those who migrated on work visa and working towards their welfare.
Basanth Reddy and his family are actively involved in the community, including as a President of Telangana State National Human Rights and Crime Control Organisation. He is a proud supporter and sponsor of numerous Organisations around the country.
