പവര്‍ക്കെട്ടുണ്ടായാല്‍ വൈദ്യുത വിതരണ കമ്പനികള്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നല്‍കാന്‍ വ്യവസ്ഥ ചെയ്യുന്ന നയം നടപ്പാക്കി ഡല്‍ഹി.ദീര്‍ഘ നേരം നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നതും മുന്‍കൂട്ടി അറിയാക്കാതെയുമുള്ള പവര്‌കെട്ടുകള്‍ക്കാണ് നഷ്ടപരിഹാരംനല്‍കേണ്ടി വരുക.ആംആദ്മി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ തീരുമാനത്തിന് ലെഫ്റ്റനന്റ് ഗവര്‍ണറിന്റെ അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചതായി ദേശീയ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു.പവര്‍കെട്ടിന് നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നല്‍കുന്ന പദ്ധതി നേരത്തെ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതാണെങ്കിലും ഗവര്‍ണറുടെ അംഗീകാരത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.ഈ നിയമപ്രകാരം വൈദ്യുത വിതരണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു മണിക്കൂറിനുള്ളില്‍ കമ്പനികള്‍ പരിഹരിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട.്ഇതിന് സാധിക്കാതെ വന്നാല്‍ പരാതിപ്പെടുന്ന ഉപഭോക്താവിന് മണിക്കൂറിന് 50 രൂപവെച്ച് ആദ്യ രണ്ട് മണിക്കൂറിനും പിന്നീട് 100 രൂപവെച്ച് ഓരോ മണിക്കൂറിനും നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നല്‍കണം.ഈ നിയമംവഴി വൈദ്യുത വിതരണ കമ്പനികള്‍ ജനങ്ങളോട് കൂടുതല്‍ ഉത്തരവാദിതത്തോടെ പെരുമാറുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അരവിന്ദ് കേജ്രിവാള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
