पड़ोसी देश म्यांमार में जारी सियासी संकट के बीच भारत के लिए नई मुश्किल खड़ी हो गई है। दरअसल, म्यांमार में हुए सैन्य तख्तापलट और प्रदर्शनकारियों पर सेना की कड़ी कार्यवाही की वजह से वहां के नागरिक एक बार फिर भारत में घुसने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। इस वजह से मणिपुर की सरकार ने म्यांमार से आने वाले लोगों की एंट्री पर बैन लगाने का आदेश दिया था। इस संबंध में सीमा से लगे 5 ज़िलों को चिट्ठी लिखी गई थी, जिसमें कहा गया कि 'शरणार्थियों के लिए राहत शिविर नही लगाए जाएं और न ही उनके खाने पीने का इंतजाम किया जाए। फिर भी अगर वो शरण मांगने आते हैं तो उन्हें हाथ जोड़कर वापस भेज दिया जाए।' अब मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स में सरकारी सूत्रों के हवाले से बताया जा रहा है कि कड़ी आलोचना के बाद सरकार ने यह आदेश वापस ले लिया है।

A strong earthquake struck Myanmar on Wednesday night and was felt in parts of eastern India and Bangladesh, causing residents to rush out of their homes in panic. There were no immediate reports of serious injuries or major damage.
The magnitude-6.9 quake struck at a depth of 135 kilometers (84 miles), 396 kilometers (246 miles) north of Myanmar's capital, Naypyidaw, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Residents in Myanmar's main city of Yangon panicked after the quake struck, but authorities there said there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
