Plot: Ashish Khanna (Akshay Khanna) falls in love with Rani (Ayesha Takia) the first time he sees her. When Rani introduces Ashish to her family, they disapprove this alliance since Ashish isn't rich. Ashish promises to save enough money and offer Rani all the luxuries of life. Post facing few odds, he acquires a good offer. Keeping his word, he becomes wealthy. Rani's family happily agrees for their relationship and throws a grand engagement ceremony. But shockingly on that very day, Ashish learns that he has cancer. What will Ashish do now? Will he abandon Rani? .
