दिल्ली मेट्रो में आपका सफर अब थोड़ा सा खर्चीला होने जा रहा है क्योंकि दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन ने किराया बढ़ाने का फैसला किया है। नया किराया बुधवार से लागू होंगे। सोमवार को DMRC बोर्ड ने किराया समिति की सिफारिशों को मंजूरी दे दी। अब दिल्ली मेट्रो में न्यूनतम किराया 8 रुपये की जगह 10 रुपये होगा, जबकि अधिकतम किराया 50 रुपये होगा। फिलहाल अधिकतम किराया 30 रुपये है।
मेट्रो ने किराए के नए स्लैब बनाए हैं जिसके तहत 10 रुपये, 15 रुपये, 20 रुपये, 30 रुपये, 40 और 50 रुपये किराए तय किए गए हैं। इससे पहले 2009 में न्यूनतम किराए को 6 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 8 रुपये किया गया था और अधिकतम किराए को 22 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 30 रुपये किया गया था । अब आपको दो किलोमीटर के लिए 10 रूपए खर्च करने होंगे, जबकि पहले आपकी यात्रा 8 रूपए में ही हो जाती थी....2 किलोमीटर से 5 किलोमीटर तक 15 रूपए, 5 किलोमीटर से 12 किलोमीटर तक 20 रूपए, 12 किलोमीटर से 21 किलोमीटर तक 30 रूपए, 21 किलोमीटर से 32 किलोमीटर तक 40 रूपए, और 40 से ज्यादा किलोमीटर तक यात्रा करने पर आपको 50 रूपए देने होंगे...मेट्रो में ये किराया 10 मई यानी कि बुधवार से लागू होगा
इसके बाद 1 अक्टूबर से मेट्रो के किराए में फिर से बढ़ोतरी होगी....तब आपको न्यूनतम किराया 10 रूपए और अधिकतम किराया 60 रूपए देना होगा.
यहाँ पर मेट्रो ने थोड़ी रहत पीक और नॉन पीक आवर में दी है...नॉन पीक आवर में सफ़र करने पर आपको स्मार्ट कार्ड पर 10 की जगह 20 प्रतिशत की छूट मिलेगी....मेट्रो किराए में बढ़ोतरी ऑपरेशनल कॉस्ट को देखते हुए की गयी है....जो कि कमाई से ज्यादा है....हालाकि इससे डीएमआरसी को पूरी तो नहीं पर थोड़ी राहत मिलने की उम्मीद ज़रूर है
