Longtime co-host of Good Morning America, Joan Lunden, returned today to make a sad announcement. She is battling an aggressive form of breast cancer. The 63-year old revealed the news to co-host Robin Roberts who is a breast cancer survivor herself and battled the disease very publicly. After appearing on the show, Joan tweeted her appreciation to an outpouring of support to her fans. Joan's treatment will include a lumpectomy and radiation and she is expected to make a full recovery.
