સુરત મહાનગર પાલિકા સંચાલિત સ્મીમેર હોસ્પિટલનું તંત્ર ફરી એકવાર ઊંઘતું ઝડપાયું હતું. સ્મીમેર હોસ્પિટલના ગાઇનેક વોર્ડમાં દાખલ કરાયેલી મહિલાના 3 વર્ષના પુત્રને કોઈ અજાણી મહિલા ઉપાડી ગઈ હતી. આ મુદ્દે મહિલાના પરિવારે પોલીસ સ્ટેશનમાં ફરિયાદ નોંધાવી છે. ફરિયાદના આધારે પોલીસે સ્મીમેર હોસ્પિટલના CCTV કેમેરા ચેક કરતા અજાણી મહિલા નાના બાળકને લઈ જતી કેમેરામાં જોવા મળી હતી. પોલીસે અજાણી મહિલા વિરુદ્ધ ગુનો નોંધી મહિલાને પકડવાની દિશામાં કામગીરી હાથ ધરી છે. પ્રાપ્ત માહિતી અનુસાર સ્મીમેર હોસ્પિટલમાં ગણેશ રાઠોડની પત્નીને C-1 વોર્ડમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવી હતી. વોર્ડમાં મહિલા તેના 3 વર્ષ પુત્ર સાથે સૂતી હતી તે દરમિયાન પાંચેક વાગ્યે કોઈ અજાણી મહિલા ગણેશ રાઠોડના 3 વર્ષના પુત્રને કાંખમાં બેસાડી નાસી ગઈ હતી. ત્યારબાદ માતાની આંખ ખૂલતા પુત્રને પાસે ન જોતા તેણે બૂમાબૂમ કરી હતી. મહિલાના પતિ દ્વારા પોલીસ ફરિયાદ કરતા વરાછા પોલીસ ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી હતી અને વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરી હતી.

ग्रेटर नोएडा के सूरजपुर कस्बे से दो दिन पूर्व गायब हुए बच्चे को पुलिस ने सकुशल बरामद कर लिया है....इस बच्चे को पड़ोस में ही रहने वाली महिला खिलाने के बहाने लेकर गयी थी और बच्चे का अपहरण करके उसे फर्रुखाबाद ले जाने की तैयारी में थी.... पुलिस ने महज़ चंद घंटों में ही मासूम के अपहरण का खुलासा कर दिया और महिला आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
एटा के नंगला सरदार गांव के रहने वाले ब्रजेश कुमार सूरजपुर कस्बे में रहते हैं । पड़ोस में फर्रूखाबाद की एक महिला रहती थी जो ब्रजेश कुमार और प्रेमलता के आठ महीने के बेटे प्रिंस को अक्सर खिलाती रहती थी। लेकिन शनिवार को वह प्रिंस को लेकर गई और वापस नहीं लौटी। प्रेमलता को शक हुआ तो उसने ब्रजेश कुमार को फोन करके बताया। जिसके बाद दंपति सूरजपुर कोतवाली पंहुचा और पुलिस को शिकायत की । पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज करके बच्चे की तलाश शुरू कर दी.
आरोपी महिला करीब छह महीने से प्रेमलता के पड़ोस में रह रही थी। उसके साथ एक व्यक्ति और एक नौ साल की बच्ची रह रहे थे। वो उस व्यक्ति को अपना दूसरा पति बताती थी । बच्ची को अपनी बेटी बताती थी। ब्रजेश कुमार और उसकी पत्नी प्रेमलता को महिला पर पूरा भरोसा था। वह रोजाना उनके बेटे प्रिंस को खिलाने के बहाने लेकर बाहर निकल जाती थी। खाने के लिए चीजें दिलाती थी। लोगों का कहना है कि हो सकता है बेटे की चाहत में वह प्रिंस को ले गई हो । अपहरण का सही वजह पुलिस पूछताछ के बाद ही पता चल पाएगी....
