Kejriwal had earlier sought 10 days time from the Lieutenant Governor to decide on a government formation in Delhi.
Kejriwal has also written letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her BJP counterpart Rajnath Singh and given a copy of the same to the Lieutenant Governor. He has asked both the parties to clear their stand on various promises AAP has made in its election manifesto. The party shall then seek the mandate of the people..

Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi while addressing a Congress rally in Mangalore in Karnataka, asked the ruling BJP government in Karnataka what have it done for the welfare of the people. “As you all know we have no control on the international prices of oil which have gone up from 40 dollars per barrels 10 years ago, to 140 dollars per barrel today. But we have been compelled and we have no option but to increase the prices of diesel and the cooking gas. In spite of these, UPA government is doing its best not to burden the people with more hardships. As we hold the responsibility as a Government at the Centre, the state government also has some responsibility. I want to ask the BJP government here why have not the government increase the limit of LPG cylinders to a family from 6 to 9. This is what our Congress government has done in the states ruled by us. Why has the Karnataka Government not reduced the VAT on diesel, just like our Congress led governments have done? So it is very easy to criticize others but what about you (the state government), what are you doing to reduce the hardships of your people? It is your (state government’s) responsibility as much as ours†said Sonia Gandhi.

Video links to the documentary, 'India's Daughter', banned in India and telecast by the British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC, on Wednesday night in the UK and other countries, have been removed from Google's video sharing site, YouTube, a senior government official has said. A legal notice has also been sent to the BBC.
'We got a magistrate's order and so for compliance we wrote to Google and other ISPs. Google has removed it. As and when the police tell us of other sites who are carrying it, we are directing them to remove these,' said the government official.
Also, Aloke Verma, the director general of prisons, Tihar, has served a legal notice to BBC for violation of contract - which include using the opportunity to interview a convict for commercial use, showing content that violates the dignity of women and airing the documentary with without his approval.
MHA sources told NDTV that legal notice points to the fact that interview was used for commercial purposes and depicts woman in poor light, violating the conditions imposed when the interview was allowed. Also, Verma is believed to have said in the notice that film was aired without necessary clearances from the prison administration. 'Our next course of action will depend on BBC response,' a senior MHA official told NDTV.
