The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday imposed restrictions in Srinagar to thwart the 'Million March' call given by Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Syed Ali Geelani. The restrictions have been imposed in seven police stations of Srinagar. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar today. However, the situation on the ground was entirely different as people were not allowed to move out of their houses since early this morning in these areas. Hundreds of state police personnel and security forces, wearing bulletproof jackets and wielding automatic weapons and lathis in their hands, were deployed to strictly impose the restrictions in downtown and SeK.
